You could also create a DNS record to create a second host name for your apache sites too.  Point &quot;intranet&quot; to the IP apache is bound to.</description>

		<description>Yes this was a real life saver for me too. In my case I made a couple of changes 
1)I added was that I needed to add another  (Ubuntu/KMS) network adapter in my windows 2008R2 VM. Then add the IP address to the TCP/IP IP4 properties. 
2)Optionally, changed system32/drivers/etc/hosts file to reflect the new local Apache site

As Soon as I had done this my Apache came to life.....</description>
